Like Oranges? - drink Orange Crush

by Charlene F Goebel
(Brookllyn, Michigan, USA)

I bought two framed ads at an auction about a year ago. The other one is Like Lemon? drink Lemon Crush. The orange one shows a little girl drinking orange crush with two straws and the lemon one shows a little boy drinking lemon crush with three straws.

Ever since I bought them, I have tried to find out more information regarding them. Are they rare? Norman Rockwell's name is on both. The orange one is Serial no. 8-5 (or B-5 can't tell for sure) and the lemon one is 8-14. What can you tell me about them? Sorry, I have no way to upload pictures.

Hi Charles,
The rarity depends on the size and condition. If they were ads from magazines, then they are not all that rare. Advertisements and the magazines they were harvested from regularly appear on eBay.

Much more uncommon are the advertising pieces that were given to stores as promotional pieces. In general, these were rarely saved and are usually in imperfect condition.

If you can send pictures, I would love to see them.
