Maybe Model?

My late grandmother, Emma Thompson Hallowell, thought she might be the model for this painting. She WAS a marble champion! and remembers a photograph being taken of her when she was a kid. She was born in 1908 and lived in NJ, but not far from Philadelphia. She remembered wearing her hair that way and her dress and shoes. Sadly, she passed away 15 years ago.
