Here is a younger boy being picked on by an older bully. Most all readers can relate to one role or the other.
The bully is much taller than the younger boy. He has taken the boy's straw hat off and is holding it behind his back out of the boy's reach. He is also stepping on one of the boy's toes on his bare feet. The bully is dressed in tattered clothes.
The younger boy looks frightened or surprised. He is trying to remember how his father told him to deal with bullies.
The dogs in the painting are the give-away of how this confrontation will end.
How will the confrontation end? Rockwell answers in next week's issue .
