I am the model for the lady in the red suit.

I was a junior at Bennington High School, Bennington, Vermont when I posed for this painting. It was awesome to meet Mr. Rockwell and his wife. It is her coat that I am wearing.

The lady on the right of me was my English teacher, Mrs. Shipp. It is her husband in the left background smoking the cigarette. We drove together to the studio in West Arlington.

The hat I am wearing was made by the wife of the school coach. She had a millinery shop. I still have the hat. It is quite faded now to say the least.

I will celebrate my 80th birthday Feb. 11, 2015.

I am now living in Stone Mountain, GA, recently married to Virgil D. Baker III, graduate of Emory Medical School, Atlanta, GA.
